I was shocked watching NTA Good Morning programme discussing another toxic wastes in my village in Koko.
How come the State Government is not concerned about this incident? Why is it not a burning issue? Where are the Environmentalists in the State or Community?
What measures are in place to ensure peoples are not exposed and reduce impact on the environment? The State Government needs to be responsible by investigating the NNPC Contractor that dump the wastes. NNPC should be responsible for their wastes from cradle to grave.
Why Koko again? Could it be there are people who love money at the expense of their environment and lives? Could it be this is happening in other areas not yet uncovered.
