2022 BUDGET: HON. TAIYE DUKE PRESENTS YEAR 2022 BUDGET ESTIMATES TO THE WARRI SOUTH-WEST LEGISLATIVE ARMS AT THE LEGISLATIVE CHAMBERS, ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 7TH, 2022.
The Chairman Warri South-West Local Government Council Hon. Taiye Tuoyo Duke earlier today the 7th February 2022 present the draft estimated budget for the year 2022 at the legislative chambers in the Warri South-West Local Government secretariat in Ogbe-Ijaw Warri South-West.
The budget was presented and passed first and second reading as relevant rules were suspended to commit it to the finance and appropriation committee at a sitting presided over by the Leader of the House Hon. Emiko Odin-Etuwewe, after the presentation of the draft estimated budget of #6,846,662,498.00 which was tagged as the "Budget of FAVOUR AND BLESSING".
The Executive Chairman Hon. Taiye Tuoyo Duke is confident that the budget of "FAVOUR AND BLESSING", will help his administration to boast his capacity to providing the dividends of democracy through providing a better security support and the protection of lives and properties to the residents of the council area, employment for youths, and improving in the healthcare system.
The council boss said during his presentation that his administration is not limited to the above as he planned to further restore the hope of the people through a more robust infrastructural development, provision of portable water, women and youth empowerment in agriculture, small scale and medium scale enterprises. The dream of this administration is to equip the health sector and make our people to better medical treatments within the council area.
Speaking after the presentation, the Leader of the Warri South-West legislative arm Hon. Emiko Odin Etuwewe thank his colleagues for ensuring a smooth presentation and first rudiments achievable for further legislative action which is scheduled for next week. Since his goal is for the 6th assembly is Executive-Legislature working relationship which should translate to deliverables and then tangible achievements like infrastructural development in the constituency.
While the honorable chairman was asked to take a bow and leave the chamber, Hon. Duke prayed that God would continue to keep Warri South-West safe and to also remain conscious of their safety as well as the safety of their neighbours.
