URHOBO YOUTH COUNCIL PRESIDENT ABANDON OKOWA: SAYS OKOWA IS A WICKED MAN.
The President of Urhobo Youth Council Worldwide, UYC, Comrade Terry Obieh has slammed Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa with a resignation letter, bowing out as Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Mobilization. According to the letter dated March 10, 2017 and addressed to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Obieh said “I wish to formally notify you that I am resigning my position as Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Youth Mobilization. This is as a result of serious interference of government officials in the business of the Urhobo Youth Council.”
The UYC President, explained that he accepted the Special Assistant appointment with the mind of collaborating with the government to curb youth restiveness in the state as well as to foster development in Urhobo Nation
