It was a sigh of relieve for Olodi, Oki and Ighogbadu management committee and residents of Okumagba Estate as the Warri South Local Government council led by the supervisory counselor for environment, Hon. Kenneth George led a team from the council Secretariat to evacuate heap of refuse in the area.
Speaking with the SMART Ambassadors correspondence, Hon. Gabriel Eyekpimi (Chairman) and Mr Mike Okumagba (Secretary) of the management committee commended the Warri South Council Boss Hon. Mofe Edema and the Supervisory counselor for environment, Hon. Kenneth George for the prompt response and evacuating the heap of refuse disposed in the area.
Residents of the estate also appreciated the council boss and the management committee of the estate for evacuating the heap of refuse.
Hon Kenneth George and Gabriel Eyekpimi appeal to residents of the area to patronise government approved private waste collectors who are poised to ensuring a clean and healthy environment and to stop indiscriminate deposal of refuse.
